I had the pleasure of escorting our regular boy Dexter to his ‘pawrents’ wedding at Gaynes Park, Epping back in October 2023. I helped Dexter to mingle with the wedding party at well as working with their photographer to get these amazing shoots of them all together. I looked after Dexter for the whole day and stayed at his house over night.

Dexter is such a big part of our lives and we knew we wanted him to be a part of our wedding day but we wasn’t sure how.

I got in contact with Mel to discuss a way of getting Dexter involved. Dexter is a lively one and we knew we didn’t want him walking down the aisle but defiantly wanted him in our photos and to mingle with our guests. Mel made a tailored plan for our day and also dog sat for us for the night. 

Mel had several meetings with us about how we wanted our day to go and how we wanted our photos to look. Mel already walks Dexter at least twice a week  for us and so I knew I could trust Mel with everything. Mel took control on the day and made everything smooth sailing for us but also calm for Dexter.  Mel was amazing at orchestrating our photos with Dexter and helped keep his attention. She mingled with our guests and got him involved.

We really couldn’t have asked for more and was so pleased with the service we got from Mel and Hair Of The Dog. We are so thrilled we got to have Dexter at our special day and Mel made this happen for us. The photos are amazing and we will treasure them forever.
