I had the pleasure of looking after Coco after Isabella and Charlie’s the wedding ceremony at Channels Estate, Chelmsford, Essex.
We got some really nice photo shots of Coco on her own and with her owners. I helped Coco mingle with the bride and groom, and their wedding party, until it was time to settle her and her little brother Buddy back at their home for an overnight pet sitting.
Congratulations to Mr and Mrs Courtenay, I enjoyed looking after Coco and Buddy for you, and assisting Coco for part of your very special day
Mel, what more can I say but thank you!
From the moment I spoke to Mel I knew she was right for the job of helping us with our Coco (Jack Russell) for our wedding day. After finding out what we needed and what was right for us. We had Mel be a dog chaperone for our wedding and then help dog sit after.
Mel came to meet Coco and helped with come up with a plan for our wedding day. You could tell from the start Mel loved to help and loved animals. She really does care about her work and helping people out.
This was a massive help as I had no idea where to start. Mel kept in touch leading up to the wedding and made sure she knew who was around to help. Family names, suppliers she would be dealing with. Coco was very confident and happy to see Mel on the wedding day after meeting her.
The wedding day was made so much easier knowing we had someone we could trust and be happy to have around.
Mel helped with Coco in photos, meeting and greeting our guests. Also helped with regular toilet and water breaks. Knowing we had Mel to help with Coco took a massive stress off our shoulders and we couldn’t be more grateful for that.
Mel was in touch with a family member when she left the venue and took Coco & another family members dog to our home. She let us know she was home and how the dogs were getting on throughout the evening. The morning after the wedding we was updated how the night was. Mel took the dogs on a walk for us too once it was cooler and before we got back home.
The house was perfectly clean and well kept after Mel stayed. Mel dropped our key back when we got back home and Coco was so happy to see her again.
I can not recommend Mel and ‘Hair of the Dog’ team enough for everything you have done for us. Mel still keeps in touch and we are arranging for Coco to have walks with Mel and the team when we need help.
Mel thank you for everything. All your help with Coco leading up to the wedding, keeping the wedding calm and peaceful for Coco. Looking after both the dogs and our Cat on the wedding evening/night. Making sure everything was ok the next day. You were amazing, so professional, calm, caring and patient. You are very passionate about what you do and that is brilliant.
